Probability Theory and Statistical Analysis of Coincidences

According to the description of the book "The Designed World of Information: Unveiling the Incredible Realm Beyond", I am able to have an understanding some things related to  the book. Here are three specific things I found.

First, it  applies probability theory and statistical analysis to coincidences, making the case that the role of chance in such phenomena is unlikely . It said  "the book shows how to make simple calculations to estimate the chances that coincidences are not due to mere randomness" and show readers "how to prove that the coincidences in their lives have meaning, rather than being a 'fluke' of pure luck" . That is a unique approach. Most books on synchronicity rely on anecdote. It uses mathematics.

Second, the book connects synchronicity to the deepest questions in science and philosophy.  The book "uniquely connects the synchronicity phenomenon with the questions of the Universe's origin, biological evolution, quantum mechanics, elementary particles and with the incredible beauty of the laws of nature". It argues that "everything we know about the Universe is fully compatible with the existence of God" . No, it is are not a religious book. It argues from science to spirituality.

Third, it is a book of a skeptic writing for skeptics. The author written this book "for skeptics" and claims  "there are many studies appealing to the spiritual beginning, faith in God, religion, to convince people of the existence of a primary reality affecting our lives. Here I apply a new concept based on statistics, which is closest to the scientific approach to understanding such phenomena" . That is a rare and credible position. Most authors on this subject are believers writing for believers. The author  is a scientist writing for the scientifically minded.
