Then double click "RTextDoc-[Version]-installer.jar" or run "java -jar RTextDoc-[Version]-installer.jar" (on Linux/Mac). The default installation path is "C:\Program Files\RTextDoc". If you will see a message "Permission denied", then install it to "C:\RTextDoc" (or any other location where you have the permission). The installation does not require administrative privileges.
If you downloaded zip file, just unzip "RTextDoc-[Version].zip".
This is a demo version of the RTexDoc editor. The download size is about 130 MB. Although it is a fully functional editor, it misses many features needed for LaTeX files (see the link "Documentation"). To activate this version, please register here. Later you can access your account using RTextDoc member page.
We charge a small price for activation of RTextDoc. This ensures support, project continuity, availability of web services, accessibility of the documentation and on-time auto-updates. The license never expires.
However, the activation will be valid for all future releases of RTextDoc.
