SIMbox is a licensed system architecture created by SimiGon in 1998. It allows companies to create simulation-based training which is commercial off-the-shelf software (COTS), HLA, and SCORM compliant. A few of SIMbox's partners are Lockheed Martin—who used it to create its flight simulation training branded as NxTrain,[1] (and the LM STS division), Rocket Racing League, and the Belgian Air Force .

SIMbox is a program to create simulations for companies. It has three different distributions: SIMbox toolkit, SIMbox server, and SIMbox runtime. SIMbox toolkit is used for development, SIMbox server is used for management, and SIMbox runtime is used for testing and making briefings.
