Gbrainy is a free and open brain teaser game for GNOME designed for use in education. It is licensed under the GNU GPL. The game was written in C#[3] and has since been ported to the Sugar graphical environment,[4] as well as Microsoft Windows.

Types of games

Gbrainy provides the following types of games:

  • Logic puzzles designed to test logical reasoning and critical thinking.
  • Mental calculations based on arithmetical operations designed to test the mental calculation skills.
  • Memory trainers designed to test the short term memory.
  • Verbal analogies that test verbal aptitude.
