Organization:Portuguese Speleological Society

The Portuguese Speleological Society (SPE) conducts explorations and studies of caves throughout Portugal. The Society is structured via delegations, which are represented in the National Directorate and in the National Congress. Small groups of members may also form "Nuclei".
The society was founded in 1948.
