Biagolini-Jr. & Macedo 2020: i) os parasitas infectam mais frequentemente a região da cabeça-pescoço dos filhotes; ii) o parasitismo não diminui a sobrevivência dos filhotes; iii) o parasitismo aumenta a assimetria corporal; iv) territórios com maior oferta de alimento (quantidade de sementes de gramínea) apresentam menor risco de infeção. Biagolini-Jr. et al. 2021: duração do salto dos Tizius (fazendo display) é maior em territórios com mais alimento (sementes) e sombra. Também mostramos que após um evento de incêndio, os Tizius faziam displays em uma taxa mais baixa (isso é, davam menos saltos por minuto). A distância dos poleiros usados para exibição até a borda da mancha de vegetação ou ruas/estacionamentos, bem como a presença de um ninho ativo não influencia a duração dos saltos e taxa de exibição.
