Halieutopsis andriashevi, also known as Andriashev's deepsea batfish, is a species of fish in the family Ogcocephalidae.[1] It is found in the Western Indian Ocean in the vicinity of the Mascarene Islands.[2] This species reaches a length of 4.6 cm (1.8 in).[3]

Etymology

The fish is named in honor of Anatole P. Andriashev.
