What does "Your connection is not secure" mean? - jworkorg - 03-12-2017 02:27 PM

You may have noticed that some browsers show a message "Your connection is not secure" when trying to login to web pages with the standard "http" protocol. This message tells that the certificate presented by the website does not exist, and "https" protocol was not setup.

You should ignore such message. https protocol is only somewhat more secure (and cannot stop a professional hacker). This trend of "warning" is attempt to force web administrators and providers to spend money on security certificates, even when web sites do not sore any sensitive or personal information and https simply is not a necessity
