Topic: function definitions
It was pointed out recently that parsing function string may have some unusual features, such as x/y/z does not correspond to x/(y*z). This is known feature. It is now documented in the section functions: See
Always use parenthesis to force the order of evaluation. When part of an expression is enclosed in parentheses, that part is evaluated first. Expressions within parentheses are evaluated according to the normal order of precedence. In expressions containing nested parentheses, the innermost parentheses are evaluated first.
