jHepWork is a full-featured multiplatform data-analysis framework for scientists, engineers and students. jHepWork incorporates many open-source math software packages into a coherent interface using the concept of Java scripting, rather than only-GUI or macro-based concept.

jHepWork has a goal of creating a tool competitive to commercial scientific packages which can be run on any platform. jHepWork is a 100% pure Java package with numerical and graphical libraries for data-analysis applications. It uses Jython in order to bring more power and simplicity to scientific computing, although other scripting languages (like BeanShell etc.) can also be used.
